The Time it Takes..!

Some things don’t arrive when we ask for them.
They arrive when we are ready to sit with them.

I’ve noticed how time plays a quiet role in everything we feel.
Emotions don’t always come with language.
They arrive first as weight, as restlessness, as silence that lingers longer than expected.

It takes time to recognise what we’re feeling.
Even more time to name it without fear or exaggeration.

We often rush ourselves — to understand faster, to move on quicker, to explain sooner.
But some truths resist urgency.
They ask for patience, for stillness, for the courage not immediately make sense of them.

Writing has taught me this gently.

Not every thought is meant to be written the moment it appears.
Some need to sit with us, change shape, lose their sharp edges.
Only then do they become honest.

There is a difference between reacting and reflecting.
Time creates that distance.

And in that distance, clarity begins to form —
not always complete, not always comforting, but real.

This space is an acceptance of that pace.
Of allowing words to arrive when they are ready.
Of trusting that what matters will find its way to the page, eventually.

Some things take time.
And that time is not wasted.
